Current Events:


September 2016 - Further planting around the green and the balancing pond is planned for the autumn. We are also investigating soil improvements, as plants have been drying out in the warm weather, due to the sandiness of the soil.

January 2017 - The tree survey has been satisfactorily completed, and no further actions are required at this stage.

October 2017 - We are looking into the cost of replacing the bench on the green and hope to action this as soon as possible.

March 2018 - Post AGM - Potential new directors joining us at the next meeting

November 2018 - New bench on the green installation completed

January 2019 - Cutting of trees and hedges on the green

February 2020 - Award of new maintainance contract to "The Forge"

October 2020 - AGM held online as a result of re-scheduling due to COVID-19 restrictions

February 2021 - AGM arranged for April 2021, again online due to contnuing COVID-19 restrictions. The directors are discussing some improvements to the estate, especially around the balance pond where the current fence will soon require attention., This particular issue has been discussed at the AGM, and comments or suggestions from members will be encouraged ahead of any works being planned.

August 2021 - Fence replacement as discussed at AGM to the perimeter of the balance pond completed. Also commencement of a trial to create a "wild patch" on the green in the area under the trees - feedback requested from members as to whether or not this is preferred.

September 2022 - Completion of tree survey, and required works as a result of this three yearly inspection are now planned to be actioned.
Change in process for property transfers - moved from in-house to managed by external solicors - details on "Buying and selling" page.

Company Annual Calendar:

March - AGM and Service Charge request.

June – Insurance renewal.

August – Accounts submission to Companies House.

October - Companies House return of directors who held posts over the year.

The GPML Business year runs from 1st November to 31st October.

Directors meetings take place either in response to an issue or planned at approx. bi-monthly intervals.
